BA GENERAL THEATRE DEGREE PROGRAM

The Bachelor of Arts Degree Theatre Studies is designed to offer an excellent foundation in theatre while providing greater flexibility and opportunity for interdisciplinary study.

The BA course of study emphasizes a broad based theatre education and provides freedom to pursue a complementary minor (required) outside of the theatre department. Upon graduation, UCF students can choose to pursue further education or enter the job market with a skill set unique to their goals. The BA degree is a 120 hour degree program.

REQUIRED INTERVIEW MATERIALS FOR BA IN THEATRE

The departmental faculty evaluate students desiring to become majors via an interview. Prospective students will need to contact John Shafer, Faculty Representative, at jwshafer@mail.ucf.edu

All prospective students must prepare and provide the following:

• Resumé
• Three current letters of recommendation
• Transcripts of prior college credits
